My current bike
A 900 Yamaha diversion

Diversion 1                             Diversion 2

I bought my Diversion on 20th November 2003 with the intention of taking it to the Alps in June 2004. As I am creating this page, my deposit cheque has been cashed and I'll be away to France in June with a company called biketours-UK. I decided to go with a group simply for company and the support of my fellow group members should anything go wrong. It will be a 3 day journey to get to Bourg St Maurice, we then have 8 days touring in the Alps and then 2 or 3 days home depending on the tiredness levels.

I have found the Diversion to be much heavier than the Revere, but that was to be expected. However the performance and ride comfort are great. So far I have only ridden the bike about 700 miles but what I have ridden I have thoroughly enjoyed. Even to the extent of taking the old girl out after work in January at 3 degrees centigrade when the roads were dry and the moon was full

Those in the know will know that both my bikes are/have been shaft driven. This was a conscientious decision on my part, I didn't want the hassle of having to do the routine maintenance that comes with chain and sprockets. I can cope with an oil change at 2500 miles mid full service interval but remembering to check drive chain, not a cat in hell's chance.

I have found the Diversion group to be most helpful for answering little questions as well as providing great technical advice

As I ride her more I'll post more, with more pictures, hopefully
